Picture your mornings unfolding slowly, sunlight moving across stone that has witnessed centuries of women before you. You wake without an agenda pressing on your chest, without a room waiting for you to walk in and hold it together. Here the land itself does some of the holding. You walk through hills where the sacred feminine has been honored for generations, and something in your body remembers what it means to simply belong to a place rather than perform for it.
You sit in circle with women who understand what it means to carry vision. No one here needs convincing of your capability. You simply get to arrive as you are, surrounded by women whose gifts are different from your own, each bringing her own medicine to the circle. There is laughter. There are honest conversations. There are moments of silence. There is the quiet recognition that you are among women who understand.
By the final days, you notice it in your shoulders first. The place where you've been carrying so much begins to soften. Your breath comes a little deeper. Your vision feels a little wider. You return home more rooted, more connected to yourself, and more deeply devoted to the life you are here to build. This is what eight days among equals, in a place this old and this sacred, can awaken.
The Black Madonna Journey
A Pilgrimage of the Ages
This pilgrimage moves through a landscape steeped in mystery and devotion, weaving together the legends of the Cathars and the footsteps of Mary Magdalene herself. In Rennes-les-Bains you soak in mineral waters that have soothed pilgrims for centuries, while nearby Rennes-le-Château holds mysteries that have drawn seekers for generations. Montségur rises above it all, the last stand of the Cathars, a place that carries grief and reverence in equal measure and asks nothing of you but to feel it.
The Magdalene's Arrival
The land also carries you to Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, where Mary Magdalene is said to have first arrived on French soil. You'll stand where the Camargue meets the sea, near the shrine of the Black Madonna, timed to coincide with the festival that draws devotion from around the world each year. There is something in that convergence, land, legend, and living tradition, that settles into your chest and stays.
The Cave of Contemplation
High above the forests of Sainte-Baume lies the cave where tradition says Mary Magdalene spent her final years in prayer and contemplation. For nearly two thousand years, pilgrims have made this climb, seeking the quiet that allows deeper truths to emerge.
We'll slow our pace here, sharing unhurried meals, meaningful conversation, and time for reflection among the trees and ancient stone. Sometimes the greatest wisdom doesn't arrive in the noise. It reveals itself in the stillness.

Hi, I'm Melisa.
For almost a decade, my work has centered on devotion to the feminine path, to intimacy, and to embodied spiritual leadership. For eight years, I’ve mentored women and couples in intimacy and relational depth. For the past three, I’ve guided devoted leaders through the sacred process of becoming published authors, helping their voices take form in the world.
My work lives at the intersection of embodiment, full self-expression, and lineage. Alongside all of that, I’ve been in relationship with the Magdalene. She has been a mirror. A reflection of devotion to self.
A reflection of feminine sovereignty. A reflection of embodied spiritual authority.
This pilgrimage to France will be my first time walking her physical lands toward something that has been alive in me for years, and inviting those who feel that same resonance to come. Leaders who carry their own devotion. Leaders who understand inner pilgrimage. Leaders who are ready to meet the land, and themselves, in a deeper way.
I created this pilgrimage to support leaders like you in choosing yourself, deliberately and unapologetically, for a week of luxury, devotion, and deep replenishment in France. If something in you recognizes this invitation, you already know how to listen and you've already been called.

Melisa is the CEO and Founder of HOPE, the Heart Open Publishing Enterprise, helping women find their voices through the literary creative process. She is also an Intimacy Coach, community and space holder, and 7x best-selling author.
She has a personal relationship with the Magdalene that inspired this heart centered pilgrimage for heart centered leaders looking for their tribe.

Deidra Towns is guided by her belief that nurturing strength of Spirit is the most important thing we can do for our health, wealth, and wisdom. Trained in Christian, African and esoteric spiritual traditions, she integrates and distills these teachings to create revolutionary frameworks for understanding how Mary Magdalene's suppression mirrors modern women's experiences.
Through her decolonized spiritual methodology, she guides participants in developing prophetic authority to speak truth to power while healing colonial conditioning within themselves and their communities.
The Land and the Table
A French Villa
Your first days unfold at a private French villa in Alpières, near Limoux, an intimate home base for the Rennes-les-Bains, Rennes-le-Château, and Montségur portion of the journey. As the pilgrimage carries you toward the Sainte-Baume, you move into a boutique castle, storybook stone walls holding you as you settle into the slower rhythm of these final sacred days.

Throughout your time in this land, a local guide walks with us, someone who has spent a lifetime steeped in these legends and knows this ground not as history but as living story. She carries the myth and the magic in equal measure, and through her you come to understand this region not as a tourist would, but the way a woman returning home might, guided by someone who already knows the way.

Mary Magdalene has been sanitized, and her power has been hidden. You know this in your bones, because it is your story too. Wealth as a woman's birthright, not something to apologize for. Your body and your connection to land as a source of power, not something to manage or minimize. Pleasure, sexuality, and soul union as power, not distractions from the real work. Your own inner knowing as the final authority, above any external voice telling you who to be. These are the codes she carried, erased from the narrative of who she was. And these are the codes we carry, that we get to spend our lives softening into, healing from past wounding, and dropping into our full sovereignty and power, each in our own unique way.

Not because anyone told you to, but because a full week of being met as sovereign, held as an equal, and reminded by the land itself of what you already know has done its quiet work. You go home to your leadership, your business, your family, carrying more of yourself than you left with, not less.
